Plan before the cash gap
Cash-flow Forecast
Estimate next month’s closing cash from an opening balance, expected customer receipts and scheduled payments. Use the result as a prompt to check timing—not as a promise.

Separate profit from timing.
A profitable invoice can still leave a short-term gap if the customer pays after payroll or supplier bills. Enter receipts on their realistic dates and include loan, payroll and tax payments so the forecast is useful.
Forecast rhythm
- Start from the latest bank balance.
- List due dates, not just totals.
- Update when a customer commits or delays.
- Keep a minimum operating buffer.
